1/2 cup(s) breadcrumbs
1 egg
1/4 cup(s) milk
1/3 cup(s) onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup(s) fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tsp(s) garlic powder
1/4 tsp(s) ground all-spice powder
1 tsp(s) salt
1/2 tsp(s) ground black pepper
Cream Sauce
1/4 cup(s) butter
2 tbsp(s) olive oil
2 tbsp(s) all-purpose flour
2 cup(s) beef broth
1 cup(s) heavy cream
1 tsp(s) dijon mustard
1 tsp(s) Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp(s) salt
1/4 tsp(s) ground black pepper

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, parsley, garlic powder, allspice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
2. Roll the mixture into small, uniform meatballs, about 1-inch in size.
3. In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
4. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
5. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
6. In the same skillet, whisk the all-purpose flour into the remaining butter and oil until a roux is formed, about 2-3 minutes.
7. Gradually pour in the beef broth, whisking constantly to prevent lumps from forming.
8. Stir in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
9. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
10. Add the cooked meatballs back to the skillet and gently toss to coat them in the cream sauce.
11. Serve the Swedish meatballs hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
