Ingredients

Strawberry Sorbet
16 oz(s) Frozen Strawberries
1/2 cup(s) Simple Syrup
2 tbsp(s) Lemon Juice
Simple Syrup
2 1/3 cup(s) Granulated Sugar
2 1/3 cup(s) Water

Instructions

1. To make the Simple Syrup, combine the Granulated Sugar and Water in a saucepan.
2. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.
3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Remove the syrup from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
5. To make the Strawberry Sorbet, combine the Frozen Strawberries, Simple Syrup, and Lemon Juice in a blender or food processor.
6. Blend the mixture until smooth and pureed.
7. Taste the sorbet and adjust the sweetness and tartness to your liking by adding more Simple Syrup or Lemon Juice.
8. Transfer the sorbet mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
9. Once the sorbet has finished churning, transfer it to an airtight container and place it in the freezer to harden for at least 2 hours.
