5 tbsp(s) Unsalted Butter
1 1/4 cup(s) Granulated Sugar
2 Large Eggs + 1 egg yolk cold
1 tsp(s) Vanilla Extract
1/3 cup(s) Vegetable Oil
3/4 cup(s) Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/2 cup(s) All-Purpose Flour
1/8 tsp(s) Baking Soda
1 tbsp(s) Cornstarch
1/4 tsp(s) Salt
3/4 cup(s) Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, melt the unsalted butter and sugar in the microwave or on the stovetop. Stir until smooth.
3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt.
5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
