Ingredients
1 lb(s) Ground Pork
1 Scallion Stalk
1 tsp(s) White Pepper
1 tsp(s) Shaoxing wine
1/2 tsp(s) Salt
1/2 tsp(s) Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp(s) Sesame Oil
1 tbsp(s) Grated Ginger
1 package(s) Pot Sticker Wrappers
Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, scallion stalk, white pepper, Shaoxing wine, salt, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well until all the ingredients are well combined.
2. Add the grated ginger to the mixture and stir well.
3. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
4. To assemble the dumplings, lay a pot sticker wrapper on a flat surface. Place a tablespoon of the pork filling in the center of the wrapper.
5. Dip your finger in a small amount of water and run it along the edges of the wrapper. This will help the wrapper stick together when it's steamed.
6. Fold the wrapper into a triangle by bringing the two opposite corners together to form a point. Press the edges together to seal the dumpling.
7. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
8. Bring a pot of water to a boil and place a steamer basket in the pot.
9. Place the dumplings in the steamer basket, leaving some space between each dumpling.
10. Cover the pot and steam the dumplings for 8-10 minutes, or until they are cooked through and the wrappers are translucent.
11. Serve the dumplings hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
