Ingredients
1 Medium Onion
1 lb(s) Ground beef
1/2 lb(s) Ground Lamb
2 Garlic Cloved
2 cup(s) Fresh Parsley
1 Slice of Toast
1 tsp(s) Allspice
1 tsp(s) Cayenne Pepper
1/2 tsp(s) Nutmeg
1/2 tsp(s) Sumac
1/2 tsp(s) Paprika
Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, allspice, cayenne pepper, nutmeg, sumac, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well with your hands until just combined.
3. Add the fresh parsley and mix again until the parsley is evenly distributed throughout the meat mixture.
4. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
5. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
6. Shape the meat mixture into small oval-shaped koftas, about 1 1/2 inches in length.
