Ingredients

2 package(s) Butter
3 tbsp(s) All-purpose Flour
1/2 cup(s) Lager Beer
1 cup(s) Whole Milk
1 tsp(s) Dijon Mustard
1 tsp(s) Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp(s) Garlic Powder
1 tsp(s) Kosher Salt
1 tsp(s) Black Pepper
1 tsp(s) Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp(s) Dried Parsley
3 cup(s) Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

1. Melt the 2 packages of butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
2. Whisk in the 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture is smooth and bubbly.
3. Gradually whisk in the 1/2 cup of lager beer and 1 cup of whole milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and comes to a simmer.
4. Stir in the 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, 2 teaspoons of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of kosher salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper.
5. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the 3 cups of shredded cheddar cheese until it is completely melted and the dip is smooth.
6. Remove from heat and stir in the 1 teaspoon of dried parsley.
7. Serve the beer cheese dip warm with your favorite crackers, bread, or vegetables.
